What is it? Club 40 Racing is designed to provide an entry level pylon racing class that is affordable and club friendly, it is open to all levels of pilot skill. To even out the skill level, there are two classes that will be run; One for the novice pilot and the other for the more advanced pilots. The only difference is in the power plant, plain bushed engines for the novice, and ball bearing engines for the advanced. All engines are of the sport class, max retail price of $120.00, no racing engines allowed. What aircraft are flown? Currently, only the World Models Sky Raider, LA Racer and the Club 40 Raider kit from Sanaloma Laser are allowed to be used. They must be assembled as designed using what parts are supplied in the box or specified on the plans / instructions. Engines used are either bushed .40 or ball bearing .40, no racing engines allowed. Rules Club 40 rules Who in our club can I contact? Bob Petrinec @ rpetrinec@austin.rr.com RC Universe!
